Squeezing in some knitting time...

Well, homework is almost done, but my bag isn't! My friend Melodie finished her bag over lunch in the middle of the week. How can I compete? She has 2 kids younger than mine and is going to school too! OK - no more complainin' off to get the bag finished before class starts.......

Like I have time for this.........

OMG! What am I thinking? Let's see, school, fulltime work, old house needing work and most of all a family including a 13 year daughter who NEEDS me. So when am I supposed to have time to write this blog? I know, in between writing papers and picking up my latest knitting project.

If you live in the SF Bay Area (and even if you don't) you have to log on to Knit One-One http://www.knitoneone.com/ and sign up for a class or two, or just read the blogs and check out the photos and purls of wisdom. The teachers are great, the hostess wonderful and the commraderie superb! It is only my second knitting class in my life- I am sorta self taught after learning the basics of casting on, knitting and purling from my Aunt Joan when I was 7 or 8- really supportive , fun and the project is great- a felted honeycomb bag. Once it is done I will post a pic.
